Casa Rossa is a stunning property located in a peaceful vineyard setting, over looking the Barossa Ranges, the perfect place to explore all that the Barossa has to offer or simply retreat and have some quite time. Casa Rossa meaning red house, this property has been set up as a self contained accommodation and has been recently re-decorated to a contemporary style. When you book this property you are only guests staying at the property, this property features 3 bedrooms, large open space lounge and dining area, a music / family room and a well equipped self contained kitchen. From the veranda enjoy views over vineyard, a perfect setting for cooking a BBQ or nibbling on a local cheese platter and enjoying a good Barossa wine. This property is well located near many wineries and fine dining restaurants and the many other attractions that the Barossa has to offer. The perfect place for both couples or small groups.
Please note - all cottages are non-smoking with a $100 penalty for smoking indoors.
Provisions for cooked breakfast provisions available at an extra charge of $10 / day for two people Log Fires – the log fires are operational only in the Winter months. Allocated wood is supplied for each day of stay, if extra wood is required the cost is $20.00 / delivery
BREAKFAST PROVISIONS We leave ample supply of provisions for your stay, continental breakfast provisions are supplied which consist of fresh bread, selections jams, margarine & butter, a selection of cereals, fresh orange juice, fresh bowl of fruit, along with a selection of twining teas, instant coffee, plunger coffee, white and brown sugar and of course a biscuit barrel to enjoy a biscuit with your cuppa! Also supplied is a decanter of port along with some chocolates.
If you would like provisions for a fully cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs and tomatoes an extra cost of $10.00 / day for two people. Please contact us to order this.

COTTAGE FEATURES Bedrooms and Bathrooms The master bedrooms has a lovely queen size bed with a large window with views over the vineyard – wonderful sunsets and sunrises! Bedroom two has a queen bed and bedroom 3 has two twin beds. The music room has a double sofa bed and can be shut to provide a private room if a extra bedroom is required. The bedrooms have crisp white linen, bedside lamps, clock radios, ample hanging space. The bathrooms has a separate shower area to the open bathroom of toilet, bath and basin, a second toilet is also available. Supplies include are hairdryer, fresh soap, shampoo and conditioner and selected toiletry items.
Lounge Room The open lounge / dining room has large windows overlooking the vineyard, this area has a lovely contemporary country feel, with a comfortable lounge suite and formal dining suite. There is a separate family / music room which has a stereo system with a fabulous collection of vinyl records, or course don’t forget to pack your favourite CD’s for your stay away!
Kitchen This property has a full size kitchen with plenty of room to move, the kitchen is fully stocked with fine glasses, crockery and cutlery, along with all your cooking utensils. A good selection of teas, coffee, biscuits and condiments are also supplied. Full size oven, hot plates, microwave and dishwasher.
Magazines, Books and Games There is a good selection of different magazines and books, along with a selection of games.
BBQ – , a large BBQ is supplied for your use, BBQ gourmet packs can be ordered, which include meat from the local butchers and a selection of salad and crusty bread.

Directions: From Gawler
From Main North Rd, turn off
(LEFT EXIT) and travel through the
township of Gawler, near the end of
the main street look for the sign towards LYNDOCH.
Turn RIGHT and travel up the hill out of Gawler, follow this road, (The Barossa Valley Way) for approximately 12kms.
Go through Sandy Creek and after about 3kms you will come over a rise and enter the Beautiful Barossa. Once you pass the first vineyards you are close, start to slow down, follow a sweeping bend and look for the Barossa Caravan Park on the RHS. Turn RIGHT onto Jolleytown Road then go over the Railway crossing. Continue along Jollytown Road for approximately 800m. As you start going uphill, slow down and look for a tree covered gravel driveway on the LHS with a sign saying ‘C&M Thompson’ and a sign saying ‘Linder’.
Turn LEFT into this driveway and follow the drive about 150m down to the end, then turn into the concrete driveway parking area adjacent to Casa Rossa on the LHS.
Directions: From Tanunda / Williamstown
From Williamstown follow the Lyndoch Valley Rd for approximately 8kms. From Tanunda follow the Barossa Valley Way for approximately 12kms. Enter the Village of LYNDOCH and come to the main intersection with the Lyndoch Hotel on the LHS. Travel through /or turn up Gilbert Street at this intersection. Travel up hill along Gilbert Street, over the Railway Crossing, then look for Jollytown Road, the 5th road on the RHS. Turn RIGHT up Jollytown Road, and travel approximately 2.5kms along this road. As you pass over the second hill (peak) slow down and look for a tree covered gravel driveway on the RHS with a sign saying ‘C&M Thompson’ and a sign saying ‘Linder’. Turn RIGHT into this driveway and follow the drive about 150m down to the end, then turn into the concrete driveway parking area adjacent to Casa Rossa on the LHS.

- A short drive from Lyndoch, this is an acoustic curiosity. The large water reservoir wall is curved in such a way that wen tow people stand on either side of the wall, approx. 140 metres apart, and they whisper to each other, the voice can be heard all the way to the other side. Incredible!
