City Terraces’ quiet and impressive one & two bedroom apartments are beautifully furnished, designed to offer guests a tropical experience whilst visiting Far North Queensland. Each apartment has a spacious lounge & dining area opening onto a private balcony. They are fully self-contained with both air–conditioning & ceiling fans, free cable TV, CD player & radio, hairdryer, direct dial phone, & *wireless broadband internet (*in most apartments, on request), fully equipped kitchen, shower & *bath tub (*1-bedroom apts only), and of course, separate bedroom/s. Extra features of our 2-bedroom apartments include washing machine & dryer, dishwasher, and best of all 2 bathrooms.
Our apartments are serviced daily with freshly laundered towels, and we have free undercover security car parking and a guest laundry. Our large saltwater swimming pool & sheltered BBQ area are set amongst exotic palms for outdoor dining. And we now have an internet kiosk out under the pergola where guests can enjoy the open air whilst surfing the net or catching up with loved ones via email. Fax & photocopying services are also available at Reception.

Directions
A quick 10 minute taxi ride from Cairns Airport - approx Aud$15.00. There is also an airporter coach that will bring you here for around the same cost. Both are easily accessible from the airport.
If driving up from South you simply turn into McLeod Street from Florence Street, off Mulgrave Road and the Bruce Highway. And coming from the north, we are simply one street back from the main highway and Sheridan Street. We are located in between Minnie & Florence Streets.
Things To Do
- It’s just a short stroll to the town centre ‘City Place’, and only 1½ blocks away is Cairns Central Shopping Centre. Cairns Central caters for everyone’s holiday shopping with a host of first class shops (in excess of 180), including Myers, as well as an international food court, licensed restaurants, coffee shops and six cinemas in which guests can experience the latest in movie entertainment. It’s about another 10 minutes walk to the Pier Marketplace, Cairns Reef Casino, Cairns Convention Centre, the Nightmarkets and the newly developed Esplanade & Swimming Lagoon. Along the way guests will find numerous cafés, shops, hotels and restaurants. Cairns airport is only 10 minutes drive away - approx $11-$12 taxi fare. And Cairns Northern Beaches are only 20 minutes away.
