Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort is the only accommodation located right on the famous Dolphin Beach and the only place in Australia where the friendly dolphins choose to swim with you – for free!
The closest town to Monkey Mia is Denham which is 27 Kilometers away; therefore staying at Monkey Mia would have to be the easiest and stress-free option! Staying at the Resort means not having to hire a car, or travel additional kilometers there and back to enjoy all the fun and activities – be where the action is!
Set amongst all the natural beauty of the Shark Bay World Heritage region, famous for its beautiful crystal blue waters, blue skies and sunshine 320 days a year the Resort offers a variety of styles of accommodation from Beachfront Villas, Garden Villas to modern motel style Beachside Dolphin Units.
The friendly dolphins are just the beginning…. there are plenty of activities for couples and families from sailing cruises on the famous ‘Shotover’ catamaran, camel rides with the camel whisperers, kayaking, snorkeling, 4WD tours, aboriginal cultural walks, astronomy and dive tours, just to name a few. Enjoy the swimming pool, natural spring hot tub, tennis court, volleyball court or just lie back on the stunning beach and relax.

RECEPTION HOURS:
Reception is open from 8am to 8pm, 7 days per week. If arriving after office hours, kindly contact our staff to organize a late check-in. Should you require any assistance throughout your stay, please don’t hesitate to speak with our friendly staff.
MONKEY BAR:
Open Midday to 10pm seven days per week
The Monkey Bar offers budget meals, pizzas and alcohol. The Monkey Bar has a pool table, juke box, TV and board games.
BOUGHSHED RESTAURANT:
Open from 7am daily, last meals are generally taken by 8pm
In the evening bookings are essential, so upon check in ask the reception staff to reserve your table.

- ACTIVITIES – FUN, FUN, FUN:
- There are heaps of things to do at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort. A must is to take part in the famous dolphin interaction happening every day of the year. You can sail on the famous ‘Shotover’ Catamaran, do a 4WD tour to see the marvels of the Shark Bay World Heritage Region, hire kayaks or glass bottom boat, visit the Pearl Farm or Ocean Park and see sharks and other marine animals up close.
- Take a scenic flight, walk with our Aboriginal guide on the cultural walk and talk tour, snorkel, scuba dive plus heaps more. Details of all these activities are available at reception; however you can always visit the Monkey Mia Wildsights office when you arrive. They are located opposite the Boughshed Restaurant. Our friendly staff will assist you if requiring any guidance.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made within 7 days of check in surrender the amount of the first nights accommodation. Cancellations made within 14 days of check in surrender 50% of the first nights accommodation.
