Self Drive
Follow the Bruce Highway into Gympie, take the Tin Can Bay/Rainbow Beach exit on the right hand side and follow Tin Can Bay Road until you see the turn for Rainbow Beach on the right hand side. Keep an eye out for the Cooloola Coast Fraser Is Tourist Drive 43 signs along Tin Can Bay Road to guide you in the right direction.Time: approx 2 ¾ hours from Brisbane
Coach
McCaffertys Greyhound coaches provide trips to Rainbow Beach from various locations in South East Queensland, including Brisbane and Maroochydore.
Train / Coach
QRail provides services to Gympie North Station. From here you can continue via coach (Polleys Coaches) to Rainbow Beach.
Air
Rainbow Beach airstrip allows for private (prior permission required and landing fee applies) and commercial aircraft to land. Rainbow Beach Flying Services provide chartered flights to Rainbow Beach from various locations.
